Prophecy Strengthens CA Alliance

Australian software multinational Prophecy International (ASX:
PRO) has joined a program to greatly enhance its collaboration with
CA has invited ASX-listed Prophecy to join its Development Partners
Program, an elite group of global software innovators that includes
Adobe Systems, Citrix Systems, MapInfo and Seagate Software.
As well as providing Prophecy with resources to create greater integration
with CA products, the collaboration will enhance access to new markets
for Prophecy through the world-wide CA distribution network. CA
will also gain access to Prophecy's world-leading rapid application
assembly e-Foundation technology.
In a further move to strengthen the alliance, Prophecy International
has accredited CA as a ProphecyOpen Systems Integrator, enabling
it to undertake ProphecyOpen implementation services throughout
Prophecy International distributes its e-Foundation products - comprising
the ProphecyOpen financials and the Framework rapid application
assembly software - through a global distribution network covering
all major time zones. Clients include Sofia Water in Bulgaria, Missouri
River Energy Services in the US and ANZ Bank in Australia.
Prophecy International Worldwide Business Alliances Director, Mr
Joe Slattery, said the partnership program would deliver even closer
ties with CA. "The primary focus of this program is about developing
solutions between a third party and CA using CA technology,"
"A secondary benefit is that it provides an additional route
for us to tackle new markets with a partner such as CA. As well
cooperative advertising, access to mailing lists and listing on
CA's intranet, this offers marketing development funds to match
our level of commitment to targeted marketing."
Immediate results of the new partnership included Prophecy's participation
in the CA-Asia World exhibition in Shanghai late last year.
