Prophecy Boosts British Coverage
Released 30 April 2002

Australian-based software multinational Prophecy International (ASX:PRO) has dramatically extended its presence in the large UK market after appointing a successful company in the booming north of England.

The company Triasolve - a newly formed division of Corporate Microsystems Ltd - will sell Prophecy's applications and development tools to clients in the corporate, enterprise and government markets throughout the UK. During the past year, Corporate Microsystems Ltd has recorded phenomenal growth in the north of England, a region that is booming due to incentives for new companies to establish a presence there.

For Prophecy Europe, the appointment of Triasolve represents the first step in an aggressive push to appoint new partners to extend its distribution network throughout Europe and the UK.

Prophecy Europe's Head of Regional Alliances, Alan Wakeman, said Triasolve and its parent company Corporate Microsystems had a substantial and credible presence in the emerging area north of England "Already we have strong prospects in areas that include manufacturing, retail, financial services and even, museums," he said.

"As the north of England is very much emerging, that's an obvious target. We've made a very good start in terms of coverage. Triasolve is totally dedicated to taking the Prophecy suite of products to the market. This is the core of its business."

Triasolve, which will focus on opportunities nationally, will concentrate on prospects in its region, including Yorkshire, Tyneside, County Durham, County Newcastle and Scotland. The company will use Prophecy's existing application packages, the ProphecyOpen Financials and Chrystal Human Resource software, to spearhead its thrust into the market, with Prophecy eFoundation tools and Prophecy Velatte offering the ability to tailor these applications to suit a business's specific requirements.

Triasolve Ltd. Managing Director Shabir Aslam said the company was focused on the enterprise and corporate arenas throughout the UK. "Our customer base and Prophecy's product base is a perfect fit," he said.

"Our customers are running a variety of systems yet require seamless integration which is what Prophecy offers with its applications and tools."

A strong attraction for Triasolve was the breakthrough Prophecy Velatte product, the company's world-leading Java based rapid application assembly tool, which allows companies to design and deploy Internet-enabled applications in weeks instead of months.

Mr. Aslam said Triasolve was committed to demonstrating the full potential of the ProphecyOpen and Chrystal applications, as well as the Velatte rapid application assembly solution, at Corporate Microsystems' US$1 million Centre of Excellence in Newcastle. "Prophecy will become very significant to us, especially with Velatte," he said.

"Velatte offers a lot of benefits for customers in terms of being able to rapidly develop objects and tasks. It will appeal to people in health, government and the education arena.
