Partnerships Underpin Prophecy's US Expansion

Business software innovator Prophecy International is expanding
its presence in North America through a series of strategic partnerships
which are opening doors to major corporate and government customers.
In its most recent collaborative deal, the Adelaide-based company
has linked with Colorado-based Office Technology Solutions (OTS)
- a move that will extend its sales reach throughout the US.
Several other key partnerships have been secured with major IT
companies, including EDS, Sun Microsystems and BEA.
The US has become the main focus of Prophecy's international push,
and in August last year (2001) CEO Bruce Lakin moved to Colorado
to personally direct the North American business.
Mr Lakin said strategic partnerships were a key feature of Prophecy's

high-level corporate and government customers, while our partners
have world-leading technology they can add to their portfolio,"
Mr Lakin said.
"The partnership with OTS will enable both companies to secure
an increasing share of the US Government application development
Prophecy's technology allows dramatic improvements in business
systems for web based applications. The company's e-Foundation suite
enables large and middle market organisations to build and deploy
web software applications in record time.
Prophecy is a major sponsor of the World Congress on Information
Technology, and will use the event to launch Velatte, its latest
design-and-run application development tool.
Velatte is a Java-based product that allows organisations to produce
software applications without the traditional development phase.
Prophecy software has now been deployed in more than 850 sites
· Rotary Watches in the UK, where it slashed product order
turnaround from two weeks to less than a day.
· The State of Colorado, to automate management of network
assets and user billing.
· Jahore Water in Asia for improving utilities billing.
